following is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding Pharmacist license
renewal.
I

Q.
Do I have to record my hours into CEBROKER to renew my license?
A.
You do not have to for this renewal period. Please keep track of your
hours as you have done in the past and if you are audited you must produce
copies of the certificates.
Q.
What is the time period for this renewal period for CE's?
A.
CE's must be obtained during the biennium of the license 10/1/03-09/30/05,
however because the rule changed during this biennium, and you might have
obtained CE's from 1/1/03-09/30/03 and you did not use them for the 2003
renewal you may use those for your 2005.
Q.
When do I have to start using CEBROKER?
A.
Your hours must be recorded in CEBROKER for your next renewal in 2007.
If you take courses from
Florida
approved providers this information will be loaded into CEBROKER.com by the
provider, if you take ACPE courses you can self submit these hours into the
system.
Q.
Do I have to subscribe to CEBROKER?
A.
You do not have to subscribe to CEBROKER. If you would like to view a
list of CE Courses offered by approved providers you must subscribe.
Q.
Does the Board office keep a list of providers?
A.
No we do not, you may view the list of approved providers without subscribing
to CEBROKER by visiting www.cebroker.com.
You will not be able to view the courses offered by these providers without
subscribing.
Q.
How many hours of CE's must I have?
A.
You must have 30 hours, 10 of which must be live and 1 must be an HIV course,
and 2 hours of Medication Error.
Q.
Do I have to have CE's, if I was licensed this year?
A.
If you were licensed from 10/1/04-09/30-05 you do not need any CE's. If
you were licensed from 10/01/03-09/30/04 you must have 15 hours, 5 of which
must be live
